Experience independence, peace and contentment that can only be achieved by falling asleep on top of a mountain.

To put into words the feeling of being surrounded by cloud, waking up beside a glowing hill top tarn or sliding out of a snow hole to gaze upon a winter wonderland cannot be described, let alone photographed with justice.

Experience these sensations for yourself, either in a snow-hole, tent or better still, out under the stars bivvying.

Because of my passion for bivvying I tend to prefer esoteric locations, for example - how about a rock ledge overlooking a mountain valley or below your favourite mountain cairn?

The choice is yours. As is your choice of either ‘Slack Packing’ with you carrying every comfort on your back or the ‘Light is Right’ principle with you and an exceptionally small rucksack?

Once again, as on all courses, you determine what you want to learn, where and when you want to learn it.
